    Hello from Ohio!

After lurking for about 6 months, I finally registered. I have been working on a hammock setup for some time now, and unfortunately, don't have an underquilt yet, so I haven't been able to use it besides to lounge in. Thanks for all the knowledge everyone has passed on! With it I have created the following set up:

ENO doublenest with 10 foot UCR's out of 7/64 Amsteel (no ridgeline), MacCat Standard with the pre-cut guylines, 20' 2mm (I think) dyneema main tarp lines with figure 9's. I also have the material to make the bug sock, but have not gotten to it yet (I need to get my hands on a sewing machine).

It's an awesome setup and I can't wait to use it. I also plan on picking up a Grand Trunk Nano 7 for my ultralight excursions.

Anyways, I look forward to learning from everyone!

    Welcome from Columbus.

The OHangers get together at least once every two months. Keep your eyes on the trip planning threads.

Even if you aren't setup to hang the night, you can still come and see some setups and talk gear.
