VIDEO: Day Hike Keowee-Toxaway SP SC w/hammock

Just a quick 4 mile day hike on the Raven Rock/Natural Bridge trail loop at the Keowee-Toxaway State Park in upstate South Carolina. My first hike in about 2 weeks as I'm getting over a pulled leg muscle from skateboarding.

Also show off my Grand Trunk Ultralight hammock.

This is my first hiking video. Was tring out my new camera (FLIP HD) that I'm planning to take on my nobo AT thru next year for video blogs. I'll also be posting some AT section hikes, shake-downs, and equipment videos.

Hope it's watchable and not too long, etc! Please feel free to sub as I'm just getting this channel going. And all comments or tips are welcome.

Thanks for the help with the link. I should have previewed it first. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, usually stuff like that works for me.

Thanks also for the comment. Yeah Lake Keowee is super clear and looks like glass! The reflection of the fall colors in the water was amazing.

Very beautiful spot. And yes, nice modern parking lot. Beats the mud any day.
I would like to see a view of the steps to the top as you stand at the bottom. From FL, we don't get to see to many verts.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Nice hike. I know what you mean walktalkbreath at the same time.
Tortoise never for a moment stopped, but went on with a slow but steady pace straight to the end of the course.

Nice video. I thought you did a fine job with all of it including narration etc. Natural fee lto it . Beautiful spot. Like the rock bridge.

Thanks, will try and film some of the near vert stuff in future videos. We have a lot of steps, ladders, rock scrambles, etc here in this area of SC, NC, and Ga.

LOL. Did not realize I breath so heavy but guess during hiking that's not a bad thing!

Thanks Bill, really appreciate that. Came out better than I thought but will get better the more I do it.
