Lightbulb Hammocks and yoga indeed mix well

courtesy of ENO Blog http://eaglesnestoutfittersinc.com/ENO-blog/?p=315 there is a type of yoga one can practice with a hammock. I found this quite impressive not only can a hammock free you of sleep burdens in the back country but help you stay fit at home. Video is a repost of what ENO Blog posted.

I have tried many of those positions . . . just not on purpose.

Wait there was a hammock in that video....
The Vampire, I didn't know there was a name for that move. Here I was thinking it was called the "HELP I CAN'T GET OUT OF THIS D***ED THING" that's what my mother-in-law called it when she tried to get into my Byer hammock set up at the camp under the patio.
Yosemite Sam: Are you trying to make me look a fool?
Bugs: You don't need me to make you look like a fool.
Yosemite Sam: Yer deerrrnnn right I don't!

That was enjoyable, a strange mixture of erotic and just plain weird. I never heard of antigravity yoga; looks fun.

The volume 1 instructional video along with antigravity hammock is yours for only $450 at http://www.antigravityyoga.biz/html/...a_hammock.html

    We'll also throw in a Popeil Veg-o-matic, a $19.99 value, as well!

But wait, there's more! If you place your order in the next twenty minutes we'll also throw in the Popeil Pocket Fisherman, a $29.99 value, for absolutely free. Act now because quantities are limited!

The promotional video is a hoot as well at:

Christopher Harrison just cracks me up with his narration. There's some unintentional humor there, like when he describes the Floating Plow:

"Bring her legs all the way up and over through a plow position and there, she's just done . . . . a backward angel flip."

Great stuff. It's only a matter of time before someone combines antigravity yoga with Bikram, or hot yoga, which is practiced in a room at 105 degrees Fahrenheit with 40% humidity. When I started yoga 35 years ago, I never dreamed it would become this commercialized.

That was incredible. I wouldn't mind trying that class. I bet these moves will be in P90X 3.

"Everybody is capable of doing this."

Right, just not as fluid, or graceful looking. I believe not everyone is capable of getting back out of some of those positions, at least not by themselves.

I had seen that video before, and I want to thank you for bringing it back to my attention. My Yoga class mates look nothing at all like that. There is a set of greeting cards featuring a woman named Maxine. She is more like my classmates.

If any cartoon character were to do antigravitational yoga, it would not be Maxine, but Zippy the Pinhead. The billowy nature of his muu-muu/clown costume would blend perfectly with the billowy antigravity hammock. Zippy would revel in the blatant commercialization. In fact, this whole antigravitational yoga sounds like a scheme hatched up by Zippy's friend Shelf Life, who knows a thing or two about "the next big thing."

    http://www.zippythepinhead.com/pages...standing.html#

It is only when you understand Zippy the Pinhead that you will be able to achieve enlightenment, grasshopper. That, combined, with antigravitational yoga, will allow you to finally hear the sound of one hand clapping. As Zippy says, only then will you be able to "walk a mile in my muu-muu."
