    WTB: Svea 123R

Looking for an older Svea 123R stove with "Made in Sweden" on the tank. The "R" designates the models with a built in cleaning needle. Also interested in Svea 123 versions without the cleaning needle. Let me me know if you have one lying around in your garage or basement that is just collecting dust.

Many happy memories associated with this stove (now long gone). They hold their value, as you can see.

    Svea 123r

My Svea will never part from me. I use it but once a year but I've had it for 30 years. It always works even in the frigid temps. Its not as easy to use as a butane stove.

I appreciate the input but it's not helping me.

Thanks very much for the offer but I have a non R version. Kind of just want a "made in Sweden" R version. The newer ones are made somewhere else from what I've read.

I assume the picture was just to show the cap and pump and that is not the stove you would sell correct?

Thanks a lot. I do frequent that forum. I am just in the market for an older model I can get moderately inexpensively and fix up myself.

I may have to just keep an eye out at local garage sales and thrift sales.

    Hi Bubba,
The stove and pump in photo is the one I was willing to sell.
This stove is Made in Sweden and older than a Seva 123r
the special cap and pump are much newer. I prefer a pump over poring gas on the stove to pressurize in winter.

Good luck on your search. Collecting Seva 123's is a fun hobby and you can find peeps out there that don't know what they have and can get an great price.

Ebay is a good place to do price research and Wiki has a great history read.

The stove in the picture looks like an R version with the built in cleaning needle. Your post said that stove is the one you were willing to sell. I'd be interested if the stove and pump in the picture is on offer and if it comes with a windscreen.

    Hi Neil,
The stove in the picture is not a 123r. It has no cleaning needle.
What I have pictured is what I was willing to sell, no wind screen sorry.
