    Hanging in the Balkans

I guess a formal introduction is in order.

Hello to all from a hilly bit of land in South-East Europe.
I've been lurking here since this summer and gobbling on the knowledge, but tonight my gear arrived and it seems I'm officially a hammocker.

It's a wonderful place you have here and I'm happy to be a part of it.
At first I assumed this was just another forum based around a product, like Ford Fiesta owners forum or something like that. But boy was I wrong. What tipped me towards hammocks was the passion and enthusiasm of the folk here. I figured, if so many people are enjoying and constantly discussing this thing then I have to give it a try.

Here is the gear I have so far. All of it needs field testing, though.
    - Hammock: WBBB 1.7 Duble
    - Tarp: Superfly
    - Sleeping bag: Exped Wall Creeper
    - Pad: Exped Multimat

Winter is just about to start here with night temperatures of 0℃ but I'm determined to get 'a hang of it' and spend a few nights out. I'm a motorcycle traveler so no weight issues (up to a point) for me.

Here a some blurry images of tonight's test hang:

    P.S.
A huge thanks to Shug for he's really been an inspiration.
And a salute to all the ADVriders that hang here.
