Hey all,
I had been alittle under the weather with the back. But am doing better as of late. I am looking at doing this late spring early summer. I will pick a date in the next few days. I am not sure where to do this. But am open to your input. I can't wait to meet some of you and I know Littlebogg is pushing me to get this set up so he can hang with us. I already have some whoppie sling made for a give away. So more to come. I will also be bringing along the new cooking rig and dutch ovens to do some cooking.
Bigbogg
Well Bigbogg, you just pushed the right button with that cooking offer. Your new rig and that meal you posted... I'll definately be up for an outing.
Oh and best of luck with the back getting healed up.

im might be in sounds like a good time
Just wondering if this is still being planned out and what date it's possibly going to be? Probably wouldn't be able to stay the night, but would like to get out and check out some of the hammock rigs people have. Plus meet some hammockers.
Probably a noob question, but since I'm not even to that level yet, are dogs usually welcome to these group hangs?
I think us Ohio guys have shifted gears, and it's become pretty much a case where we are ALWAYS planning a group hang every few weeks. We will be at Zaleski State Forest tomorrow and Saturday: http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=47410
I'm sure that we will have another being planned by Monday or Tuesday . I'm planning a group hang at Dolly Sods, in WV in May...one week after the spring MAHHA hang.
Dogs are welcome, with the obvious rule that it should be good with other dogs and people, including small children. I haven't had a bad experience with anyone bringing thier dogs yet. It's more of a "just be courteous to others" thing, and us hammockers are the most courteous people around

Cool, it's a bit too far for me to go though. Was hoping to catch something closer to Cincy/N.KY so I can check out some gear and see some setups. But good to hear about dogs, can't see leaving my mutt behind while I go out have some fun.

Cool, I'll definitely keep a look out for that trip.
Just wondering if anybody has tried scouting out John Bryan State Park Group Camp?
