    First 3/4 Down UQ...

So...thought I would make a 20*F 3/4 UQ, I've been using a quilt slightly longer than this since finding quilts. I've made several full length quilts winter, summer, 3S but no 3/4 so here it is....

1.1 Breathable RS shell from DIY Supply, diiferential cut inner/outer
coyote brown outer / olive green inner
2' finished no see um baffles from DIY Supply
1/8" shock cord suspension from DIY Supply
9 oz 800Fp White Goose Down

49Wx55L finished size, 9 chambers, roughly 2 1/2-3" loft, 18 oz finished including suspension...

Shown hanging on the new WBBB Dbl 1.0... Thanks Bloomgorge....WOOT!!!!!!!

Might try it out this weekend if temps dip into the thirties...

minus your labor, how much did the materials cost you?

Quilt looks fantastic!! Keep us posted on your testing... What temps you're comfortable in and not comfortable in. And how the length works out for you... is the quilt long enough to cover your feet or are you adding something inside the hammock? You said you sleep sort of fetal/curled position, do you never streatch out?

Not completely sure of $$$ as I used down and materials floating around but I'd guess around $60. I do stretch out every now and then, I'll set the head end of the quilt right at my shoulders. This should allow feet to pretty much stay on quilt with diag lay, down jacket in stuff sack under head and neck as a pillow...true diag measurement is almost 74" so with down jacket pillow I should be able to stretch out if needed...
