Whoopie conversion on Clark NA

Has any done a whoopie conversion on a Clark NA? If so, how'd you handle suspending the bugnet and what did you do with the tarp connections?
I'm looking for adjustability, simplicity and lower weight.

Have not changed over to whoopies yet.......I did change over to CB/strap suspension and a bigger tarp. This required me to use shock cord, cordlocks and mitten clips to suspend the bugnet. Tie the mitten hook to the shock cord, recommend a bowline knot, and attach to bugnet d-ring. Run the other end of the shock cord through the cord-lock. Then pass the shockcord through the attachment point on your tarp ridgeline at the head and foot end. Next pass the shock cord back through the cord lock and you are done. Make sure you have enough shock cord to not over tension the bugnet when you get in. This will allow you to adjust the tension on the bugnet easily and be able to pitch the tarp lower in bad weather.

one of my hammocks is the Clark UL .. my current set-up retains the Clark drip ring . attached to that ring is the hammock suspension and the bug-net .. these remain fixed .. I then use a strap and tri-glide that runs through the drip ring as well .. the strap is my tree hugger and gives me adjustability .. I'll be trying out the Mors bowline by fixing a eye to the drip ring and leaving the rest alone .. I use a separate RL for my tarp..

I ran my whoopie line through the channel that the stock suspension was in and ran it like any other gathered end hammock. I then hang my tarp from the toggles i use on my tree wraps. I also left the short stock bungie cords on the tarp for reassurance and tossed the stock rope suspension. Easy peasy. No fuss no muss. Very fast and easy. I made a video but for some reason i can't get it from my computer to here. Sorry.

Are those rings worth keeping as part of the suspension?

I changed my ropes on my Tropical to whoopies a while back. I was unsure about the rings so I left one on one side and the other side I didn't use one. I found no difference with rain running down. On the side without the ring, I did make sure that a piece of rope or something would be hanging onto the suspension so it could divert any rain that thought it wanted to run down to my hammock.
