Yup spender here as well. Got the Phoenix 20* UQ coming from HammockGear and I cant wait for it to arrive. Also went to the BassPro today and got 12 arrows, a target, and some camo for a hunt coming up next week. Wish I could get the UQ by then but I am sure they got a ton of orders today.

    Still fighting the urge

I am still fighting the urge to hit the sales. I have been strong so far, but I have been on eBay checking some DIY stuff out. Since I got a Thread Injector at a yard sale I have now got the DIY bug, which will save me some money. I am planning on making my own UQ and TQ for my husband and I. Can't wait to get all the supplies. So, in the end it will cost me some money, but not near as much as I would pay for one already made.

I did my part for all the vendors on here.
My wife woke up yesterday a 4:30am and went shopping at 5am. I was sure she would come home all stressed out. She said that most of the crowds are between midnight and 2am so she said she missed the craziness of the crowds but got all her Christmas shopping done... I am not telling her that I took care of mine online, but she will see the bank account soon enough.

Well I picked up a WB Superfly and a HG 20* Incubator last night. I had no idea there were any sales going until I logged on and read this thread.

I'm always trying to save money but when you've looked at buying a Superfly since July and an UQ is the LAST piece of my hammock puzzle I just couldn't resist.

The $50 and free shipping made the HG sale a no brainer.

    Guilty

I was able to resist for about an hour of staring at my computer screen before I pulled the trigger on my new 20* Burrow. My poor, poor wallet
I know that will turn into happy, happy me in a few weeks!

If anyone was sitting on the fence contemplating a purchase of a BlackBird and tarp or Hammock Gear UQ or TQ, that was the day to jump off of it. How can you rationalize not getting a $50 off UQ or TQ... if you wanted to try one out... heck, you could always sell back on forum for what you paid for it, easily.

The items that were mentioned above were, obviously, my choice for the sales. Thank you to all the Cottage Industries who participated in a Black Friday Sale. We all are better equipt hammockers because of it.

An early Merry Christmas to all.

There are some great cottage industry folks on this forum, and I appreciate there great sales. Thank you all. I couldn't afford to take advantage this year, but I have so much gear now, I will probably sell some to fund next years Black Friday sales. I have several hammocks to get the kids and grandkids started hanging, and plan many hangs with them. So, I figure they will be future HF members and hangers. (Up to now they have never hung) That will change Christmas. Yee-Haaaa.....
