Welcome to the forum. I'm glad to hear your getting back out in the woods and taking your son with you.

    Welcome from Lapland!

Hoping to see you at one of our SKAHO´s, it´s great fun!

I´ve been hanging with both of my youngest kids under 1 tarp and it is possible if the tarp is big enough and the trees are located right.

I have a site in my backyard that is perfect for that occasion.
I put the head-ends on all 3 hammocks at the same tree, and the foot ends at each of 3 trees that is about 1 meter apart.
That makes us sleeping close apart and I can check on them without needing to get out of my hammock.

Greetings from Bieggolmai, who also tries to act like a weathergod at SKAHO.
I have a 100% failure during wintertime so I will probably need to get a new job after the Muddus-hang!

Hanging indoors may not be out of the question. The internal wall framing lumber will hold a lot of weight if it can be distributed over several wall studs. This can be done by installing a horizontal board on the outside of the sheet rock (screwing it in to each stud through the sheet rock) then mounting the hammocks on the boards. You might want to visit a site where a house is being built and the internal wall structure is visible to get a better idea of what the internal structure looks like. If you want better instructions someone on the forum who can use computer drawing program can probably make a good drawing. There may also be links to similar instructions already posted. Perhaps someone knows of one. Just ask, particularly on the General Forum. Welcome from Texas.
