Hmm...both bagels and peanut butter will be frozen solid. Something to think about.

They must not be getting the wind we are up here. Our windchill is already -27 and the air temp is 8 above. We're looking at -40 windchill by morning and -15 to -25 all day tomorrow. Brr.

Weather at 6 showed that area at about the same temps and winds as us. Of course if he could actually predict the weather we'd have 3 feet of snow and be in the middle of the coldest winter in years.

Ok, does anyone see something we don't have?
Just when I thought you couldn't possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this... and totally redeem yourself!

Next year I hope to be geared up for this!

I just got my HH Explorer back from 2QZQ, and they deserver their excellent reputation for quality work and stellar customer service!

Quilts are high on my list of what to acquire, and I'll be ready sometime after tax season (saving until then, not sure how bad the bite will be this year).

For peanut butter, try grinding it just shy of butteryness, there's a powderyness stage that might stay malleable in the cold.

You guys and gals watch out for each other, if someone stops complaining about coldness, check them for frostbite!

Costco had great prices on hand and foot warmer packets. They come and go but if there was ever a reason to get well stocked....

Keep warm folks, I'll be hanging with you in spirit.

Wish I could be out there for this one too but I have an art exhibition this weekend i'm supposed to be at. Frozen Cheese hang was cold enough to get my January camping fix but i'll be free to play in the woods more in the future. If for no other reason the food, wow what a list! Bacon and everything!

Boogsy and I hung last night.

We saw -12.3 on the thermometer in camp, and I saw -15 in the truck on the way home this morning.
Windchill was likely -30s at some point.

    It was a chilly one!

I've got some work to finish up today.
I will see you guys soon, but it may be 6-7pm.
