Just aired Christmas Day, my daughter is a huge Dr. Who fan. The Christmas Special this year "The Doctor, The Widow and The Wardrobe" had several scenes shot with hammocks and were specifically written into the script.
The Brandon Frasier version of "Journey to the Center of the Earth"...when they find the hut that his brother was staying in...brother's son was hanging in a hammock (diagonally I noted!) for a short sequence.
