    Downlite?

Has anyone ever purchased from Downlite.com? I was wondering about their quality specifically the WGD 800 fill 1 pound for 100.00. I have 2 projects coming up and think it may be cheaper to go that route.

I have never run across them before. After looking at the site it seems legit though. It looks as if 800 FP is going to run you 16¢ per oz. Ed Speer has down for sale at http://stores.tttrailgear.com/-strse...0fp/Detail.bok for about 11¢ per oz of 900 FP. He appears to be out of stock right now, but if your looking for the best bang for your buck I would wait until Speer Hammocks has more in stock. Another bonus IMHO is that it comes in 3oz packages, which I would imagine would be much easier to work with than a 1lb bag. If you go with downlite, let us know how it goes.

    $100/16oz = $6.25 per oz.

    $35/3.1oz = $11.29 per oz.

    Or am I wrong?

Wilderness Logic has theirs for $6.50 per ounce. Too bad I didn't see this yesterday as it was on sale for $5.80.
