    Looks like a great TQ/serarpe..........Have you thought about adding some ties where you have the omni-tape, I am guessing this is where you are having the failure. If you have some scrap sil strips laying around and some omni-tape left, sew them together and see if this will hold.

    Nice work! Yeah, you're gonna like the rotary cutter!

    I use thin grossgain ties (about 12"-15" long) to close my DIY quilts in serape mode. Works great!

    And, if I want to stack top quilts for deep winter, the tie-outs help tame the stack.
