The commercial section of the Nantahala River near Bryson City, NC is done releasing for this year, and there's tons of big fish in there. I'll be heading up to camp friday and/or saturday, not sure where yet, and do a bit of fly fishing. Any interest? I'll hash out more details if anyone wants to join me.
Can't make it during this time, but would LOVE to join ya after the first of the year!
I used to get down that way a couple of times a year to visit the in-laws in Robbinsville, but never got to do any camping and only a one-day fishing trip. It's beautiful country.
I wish I could make it. I'm going to make a point of getting down there next year for sure.
I'm not much of a fisherman and even less of a fly fisherman. Sounds like a blast though. Enjoy!
