    New to the Mondak area

    i just recently moved to Eastern Montana/ North Dakota area and was wondering if anyone out there is in my area. need ideas for where to hang. lol not many trees out here.

    I'm afraid that I can't help either but I do wish you a warm welcome to HF. You might try looking on Google User map on the HF home page. Perhaps you can find some hangers that are realtively close to you there.

    Welcome to the forum from North Carolina. Lack of trees just means you gotta get creative. I have seen pictures of folks hanging from rocks, vehicles, etc.

    Welcome from Fargo. North and south units of Roosevelt National park will have some trees. Most of the state parks will have spots. Check the Ma Da Hay Trail. It passes a few creeks and the Little Missouri River. Both should have trees.

    If you are willing to drive a bit, the Black Hills in SD and mid to western MT offer more than you could explore in a lifetime.

    Glad to hear of another hanger in ND.
