I'm not quite sure what you are intending to do. A picture IS an attachment... it is an uploaded file unless you post a link to the picture. Can you elaborate just a smidge so that we can sort out your request?

Trying to upload a large picture, not just an attachment that you click into. Not sure why I can't use a url (thinking this would allow me to have a full size pic that you're not required to click into to see).
Just tried to post using a url & there's nothing there (see above). Frustrated!
It doesn't look like you're getting the full address from Picasa. Try something along these lines: https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-I...0/IMG_3163.JPG (in other words, try to get to the point in Picasa where you are seeing the URL to the image with a .jpg at the end), otherwise you are pointing to a virtual or incomplete url to the image. You may need to right click on the image through couple of levels of "view image" until you get to the actual image url as above, and then copy that url.
