I thought I recalled Hammock Gear selling down by the oz but, for the life of me, I can't find it on their website.
Anyone know of any other place to buy about 4 oz of 700, 800, or 900 FP down?
Thanks,
Sean

hammockgear.com
i think there are a few others but i'm not sure what ones i always get mine from HG
It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold
Wilderness Logics has it also
Hammockgear's site says they won't have any until the new year. I've purchased from Wilderness logics too and they're both great sources.

Thanks.
I just ordered 4 oz from Wilderness Logic to finish my RAB Quantum Top Bag -> Top Quilt mod.

+1 on Marty at Wilderness Logics. He was great to deal with. I think Tree to Trail has some as well.

Hammockgear.com site does not list any DIY supplies (in it's current form)
I know it used to be there because I bought some from them.
There may be another address for this?? I don't know.

Well, thru-hiker.com has 900FP goose down. It is only available in 3 oz. bags. I think I'd rather have the 800+ FP down from Wilderness Logics. I will not list their prices here, but the thru-hiker down is quite pricey.
Thru-Hiker down is more pricey but it is 900-fill as opposed to Wilderness Logistic's 800-fill down. On a large project that could both decrease weight and increase compressability. To many people out there, every gram counts... there's a reason people cut up toothbrushes, etc. People are also willing to pay a $10 premium for 7D fabrics that save only a fraction of an ounce over cheaper 10D fabrics. It really depends on each person's personal gear philosophy.
