Posting my public apology to Thing1 and Mac. I disregarded my own advice that I posted on Facebook this last week. #16. Cynicism is far too easy to be useful. Thing1, My apologies. Great job.

How old is this young lady? She is wise beyond her years. Well said... well said.

Says It All & Then Some

Wow Thing1. That says it all and then some. This girl is wise beyond her years.

Might I suggest using a program to turn this into a real document which resembles the Declaration of Independence. Maybe even get some of our celebrated forefathers of the hammock world to put their John Hancock on the document.

Just Jeff, Shug and many others come to mind. Seems like it might be a nice gift to sell from the HF store. Maybe a way to help pay Thing1's way to college.

I had no idea it was a national thing... I'm worried that she will get points off for basing it so closely on Mr. Jefferson's document... but I like the lampoon a lot!

That was what I was amazed at... I have the original in doc format that she cut and pasted, then edited. I thought she did a great job reinterpreting Mr. Jefferson.

Thing1...Good job!.... you know we will expect a recitation the next time we see you. I think a document on parchment paper written with a quill pen signed with your own "John Hancock" would look good on your wall at home!
