Nicely done Thing1, nicely done.
Nicely done Thing1, nicely done.
Posting my public apology to Thing1 and Mac. I disregarded my own advice that I posted on Facebook this last week. #16. Cynicism is far too easy to be useful. Thing1, My apologies. Great job.

How old is this young lady? She is wise beyond her years. Well said... well said.
Sunny
"Mother Gue", I says "the Rocky Mountains is the marrow of the world," and by God, I was right. Keep your nose in the wind and your eye along the skyline.
Wow Thing1. That says it all and then some. This girl is wise beyond her years.
Might I suggest using a program to turn this into a real document which resembles the Declaration of Independence. Maybe even get some of our celebrated forefathers of the hammock world to put their John Hancock on the document.
Just Jeff, Shug and many others come to mind. Seems like it might be a nice gift to sell from the HF store. Maybe a way to help pay Thing1's way to college.
Yeppers, we be proud o' her!
Mark yer calendar... Dec 5th makes sense, 'cause she 'druther hang in the cold.
Seconded!
She has read all these comments, and was humbled... she says Thank you!
...already on it! Thanks!
She did try hard to make it sound "Jeffersonian"...
I'll do it! Thanks!
I had no idea it was a national thing... I'm worried that she will get points off for basing it so closely on Mr. Jefferson's document... but I like the lampoon a lot!
It would make a nice video, eh?
Thank you on behalf of Thing1!
She says, Thank you, too!
...just what I thought. Thanks!
Now she's blushing...
Sure hope yer right! Thanks!
That was what I was amazed at... I have the original in doc format that she cut and pasted, then edited. I thought she did a great job reinterpreting Mr. Jefferson.
Thanks! She'll be in HS next year!
Thanks, says she and me!
She wants to be a veterinarian... sorry!
She said to say, Thank you, Mike!
You are kind. She says, Thank you!
She's at her friends house across the street, making me relay her sincere thanks!
Think nothing of it... Mr. Jefferson talks kinda strange, ya know!
Thing1 says Thanks!
She really did ask me to thank all of you for her!
I'll let you know.
She's in 8th grade, and she told me to tell you, "Thanks!"
Great idea! But that is something that Thing1 will have to work on, cause I'm kinda busy! Thanks!

HUZZAH!
Well done.

Thing1...Good job!.... you know we will expect a recitation the next time we see you. I think a document on parchment paper written with a quill pen signed with your own "John Hancock" would look good on your wall at home!
