....how to post pictures yet, but will try to figure it out and post one asap. The dsign is very simple as follows...
1) Obtain a piece of solid "leader wire" apporx 40 to 42 inches long
2) Bend the wire double and place a pencil or dowel in the end that is doubled over, using that as a handle to loosely twist the two pieces of wire togtehr into a single strand
3) Once twisted, take a piece of dowel (I used a half inch hardwood dowel about 2 to 3 inches long) drill a hole through the side of the dowel about midway
4) insert the two loose ends of the wire into and through the hole drilled in the dowel, then wrap thsoe ends around the doel a time or two
5) Now wrap the dowel with wire wrapped around it, with a good tape, I used electrical and thus far it has done fine.
6) Start splicing
I might add that after I twisted the wire, I removed the pencil I used and shaped the wire into a bit of a diamond shape with a point to make it easier to insert in the rope or cord.
