Just received it today... hung in the park briefly and my mind has been blown.
A profound difference from my GTUL, which I now wonder if it is simply too small for me. (6ft) I have slept very well in the GTUL but I have never been able to get a real flat lay in it.
The blackbird is a whole lot more comfortable. A whole lot. I think size really does matter in this case!
No regrets whatsoever, what a beautiful hammock.
[edit] Maybe its not the size that is the difference... The GTUL is only 6 inches longer and a foot wider. [/edit]
