Cricket, Titus and I went on a trip a month or so ago and just thought I would show some pics. It was at Pine Gogre in Northern PA. We canoed one day down the creek about 25 miles and hiked the ridge around 12 the next. I was 3-4 feet from that deer before he decided to leave. Notice Titus sitting in his blanket. We had it tied up to the struts of the canoe like a little hammock so he stayed off the floor.

haha, love your pics! It seems to me that deer are getting more and more desensitized to people.
Titus got his jacket from the guys we rented the canoe from. They were fantastic and I would recommend them to anybody. Great shuttle service for bikes, hikes, and floats. I will post thier info if anybody wants it.

I was bivi camping (before I had a hammock) in my local woods in September and awoke to find a deer about 15 feet away from me, it was fantastic I tried to get my camera but my movement spooked it so no pics!
Nice pics, I came up on a deer on the AT and got within 15 feet. I love nature...
