I have a single nest and love it, but my son seems to have appropriated it. Definitely made me a hanger for good. I was looking at a GTUL as well for the car, but fall into the Fat Ba****d catagory right now, so i'm looking for something a bit more sturdy.

I have the GT UL, and an ENO DN. At 6'/250#, there is no comparison...the DN wins, hands down.

The GTUL is a great starter hammock especially for the price. Have a couple myself (and given some to friends) and they work great. Be sure to mod them slightly (i have whoopie slings through the channels - not like a gathered end) and those few added inches definitely help.

Thanks for all the replies and input. Think I am going to go with the GT Ultralight for now. Should I find it on the small side I have two daughters that I am sure would want one for themselves. Now I can't wait for the UPS delivery from Amazon

Good choice! It is better to start somewhere than nowhere. I am over 6 ft. tall, and love the GT UL fit. I have 7/64" amsteel through the end channels. It is a great hammock. Enjoy!

GT was my first ENODBL was my second.. had another hammock in between and I'm back to the ENO.. there really isn't any comparison, unless you're a gram weenie and even then, my ENO stripped down is pretty light

And btw, Grand Trunk also makes a double that's pretty much identical to the ENO dbl except they're as cheap as $30-35 as opposed to the 55.00-60.00 for an ENO dbl and it literally about identical
