I'll be there for the whole weekend. So, I'm totally up for doing some hiking in the morning.

Kiba probably won't be coming now as it might be a little too cold for her Friday night.

Beep. There will be plenty more of these I'm sure and I'm sure we can make it work so you can make it.

I am sorting out stuff for him now......and he is coming over tomorrow for a crash course. I want to make sure he does not sleep cold so I am putting him in my ol' Greenbean hammock and putting the full length JRB Hudson River 20º as a UQ and then will put Frankenquilt outside of that. Put him under my HG Cuben tarp. He will use my 0º REI bag in top quilt mode. Clothes will be good. Got stoves for him and cookware.
I am going BB and Winter Yeti. 0º Black Mamba TQ.
Thanks for the offer but should be OK. I will contact you if we end up needing anything I don't have.
Timmy is very pumped to wake up in the woods.
    Of course me too.
I got a dodgy knee right now....so this short in and out will be good.
    soonest,

all right, I have the day off Friday and was planning on getting out around home Thursday night and possibly Friday night but the idea of hanging out with other "crazies" might be more fun than going alone.

I'm a maybe for Friday night. I would need to head home Saturday also.

How much snow do you guys have? We're bare down here. Should I bring the snowshoes or just the ice cleats.

There's snow, but not too much. I plan on just hiking in, but I am no expert when it comes to snow. That stuff hates me!

We have to more than likely split on Sat. as well sometime. One night better than nothing. Plus....Timmy has never hammocked!
You as well. I never saw the sign posted stating that if you hold the button for 60 seconds it will pump water...maybe it's new or I am ignorant
Tell Timmy that layers are his friend! Shortbread is my favorite! Yours looks pretty stellar

What should I bring? Does anybody have requests? I have venison breakfast sausage....or can make up a few smore type desserts that I usually make for car camping...
Just when I thought you couldn't possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this... and totally redeem yourself!
