What is the easiest way to join the baffles to the second layer in a quilt?
Is it as easy as I imagine it, or are there some tricks that anyone can let me in on?

roll it up an only expose the baffle. Put tape down on the fabric as a quide and then peel it away.

It is as easy as you imagine it... like Dutch said, just roll what you're not sewing yet, and sew in each one as you go just unroll the next baffle and sew it down.
Nice. Thanks guys.

So Dutch, the tape, you tape the mesh to the upper part, sew it, then peel it away? Is that what you mean?
Be careful that you know where all your fabric is--it's super easy to get a wrinkle in the excess fabric underneath what you're sewing.

No I put the tape on the fabric rather than draw a line. So I have the 2nd piece witha bunch of lines taped to it.

I tape it about 1/8th away and it is purely a guide.
