Our hammocks have arrived. Working away trying to figure out the best hang tension and getting some ccf pad sleeves made.

Are you making SPE's (segmented pad extenders) They are good to prevent cold shoulders.

Well sort of ya. Our budget is a bit tight (4 kids and new trailer).
So my thinking was a ccf pad shaped to match the HH radiant pad and both encased in a sleeve sewn from a thin fleece blanket. All will go inside my cheappy summer mummy bag and then use a heavier rectangular bag as a modified top quilt.
Have test laid in the mummy with radiant pad, pad stays with you.

Sound like you'll be warm enough especially since the weather is not as cold as it was a few days ago.

Nobody mentioned anything about SPE's preventing cold shoulders when I got married
