Hey Bubba, you know the routine; there is always a "Next Hang" especially with this group! It's awesome to hear about this opportunity coming your way, Let me know when to add an infant size hammock to the DIY list, with a stand that would make a great cradle, little woopies out of 2mm dynaglade...

Catch you on the next one my friend and best of luck this weekend!

Our hammocks have arrived. Working away trying to figure out the best hang tension and getting some ccf pad sleeves made.

Are you making SPE's (segmented pad extenders) They are good to prevent cold shoulders.

Well sort of ya. Our budget is a bit tight (4 kids and new trailer).
So my thinking was a ccf pad shaped to match the HH radiant pad and both encased in a sleeve sewn from a thin fleece blanket. All will go inside my cheappy summer mummy bag and then use a heavier rectangular bag as a modified top quilt.
Have test laid in the mummy with radiant pad, pad stays with you.

Sound like you'll be warm enough especially since the weather is not as cold as it was a few days ago.

Nobody mentioned anything about SPE's preventing cold shoulders when I got married
