Google maps says it’s only 7.5 hours and 430 miles from me… Remember that “may”, well… it just got smaller! LOL
I would like to make “a” hang soon though!

EDIT: Wait just a second now…
I typed "CARVERS GAP ROAN HIGHLANDS” into Google Maps and it came up with it being just off Rte 340 in WV! If THAT’S the one y’all are talking about then that “may” just went waaaaay UP! Can I get that lucky…?

Of topic, but does anyone object to a dog coming along? No big deal either way.

We might want to start "collecting" arrival times or when you think you can be there.
Friday night is tentatively slated for RHK at the shelter. Saturday night is at the Overmountain Shelter.

Medicineman and Poof: late Friday or possibly Saturday
    Wisenber: Friday after noon.

Looks like about 6.5 miles from Roan High Knob to Yellow Mountain Gap.

I'm good anytime from Friday late morning on.

It's another mile to Overmountain shelter from there.
I think it is 2.6 miles to the Hampton Creek parking from Yellow Mountain Gap.
