Cool! How much is one of these? That'll be my next JRB purchase!

Does anyone have any idea, or can someone ask Pan at TD how much the Jacks are going to be charging for this outfit when it goes into regular production? I know he's incommunicado until the 18th.
Thanks! Had a good dinner, and I didn't talk about hammocks at all... well ok, maybe a little.
Before we went out, I was able to set my Hammock Hut up in the basement and show it off to all the family. It's a big hit. I'm going to leave it there until I can get all the seam sealing done, I'll try to post some pics.
It does give a good bit of room set up without a hammock, and I'm sure plenty of room with one. I'm pleased with the material and construction. It'll give the girls a little more privacy as well when they camp with me.

How well can it be set up on the ground without trees or other supports?
Don't set up on the ground very often, but do a lot of hiking along the Florida Trail and we have quite a few berms, dikes, etc. we hike on top of, which usually don't have trees. Plus, I run into campgrounds all over the country which do not allow hanging from their trees.
The ridge line height is ~5' so you would need support poles to set up without trees, but it probably could be done.

Well I got to play around with my JRBHH while seam sealing it this weekend. Thought I would pass along some more info and pics. Basically I was playing around with the guy lines and staking techniques.
Here are some different technigues for guying out the tarp tent. I am not counting the stake that holds the bottom of the JRBHH to the ground in any of these examples:
1 stake, 2 line method (you could get buy with only using 1 line, attached at the corner):
2 stake, 4 line method. This method worked the best for getting good tension on the tarp. The bottom picture is just using the corner tie out (like above). It shows you the difference in the tautness between the two methods:
Here's a shot with one of the doors "half" open. Notice the door is staked out on the bottom:
A door fully open:
One side, both doors, fully open:
Shot of the beaks closed for weather protection. Guying out the beaks make a difference on how tight the roof pitches:

Gotta get some pics with a hammock in there! I'm going to finally get mine outside today I hope and get some pics.
Things I have learned:
- I think the way you set the beaks in your pictures is the way to go...
- This tarp does not fit into JRB Python skins. Too much material.
- The stakes seem to be pretty integral part of keeping it taut, although I have no experience with it, having never staked mine down yet.
I'm curious to know how the Jacks (JRB) learned to set theirs up most often.
Do you set this up first and then center a hammock under it, or do you set up the hammock and center the tarp over it... Do you stake out the corners to the ground first, or do you tie out the tie-outs first like a diamond tarp, then stake to the ground?
Stuff like that I'm sure I will learn very soon.
