    Newbie from the UK

Hi to all you hammockers over there. I've done lots of ground based camping, hiking, climbing, mtb'ing and triathlon. Just starting to dip my toe into hammocks and all that that entails. I just hope it lives up to all I've read on the forums! I can't wait to try whoopies, prussicks, pads and all that.
Now I just need somewhere to hang, oh and something to hang in. That blackbird looks the mutts nuts!

    Hi Headshed

Welcome to an addictive hobby. I started out with one Inka quilted fabric hammock and currently possess a couple of ENOs, A Hennessy, a DD Hammock. --and a Blackbird and a UK Woodsman Hammock in the mail as a Christmas gift to myself

I see you live in the UK. You might already know that a UK based company are selling blackbirds and all the kit "needed" to hang.

Now. If only I could convert my wife...

If I die, my biggest fear is that my wife will sell my gear for what I told her I paid for it.

I am learning from my mistakes, so I can make better and bigger mistakes.
