    eno bishop bags

Hey all so I noticed on the pif that someone offered up a bishops bag. I never heard of them before and was wondering how many of you all used them. If not then what are you using? I always just used the bag attached to the eno. I just detached the straps and bagged it up. Now if I switch to whoopies I don't see any need to remove my suspension system every time I take down my hammock. So something like a bishops bag would enable me to do that.

When I got out for more than 1 night I use a bishop bag I made that holds my hammock, suspension, straps (on the outside in mesh to dry if needed), underquilt and pillow. All I need to add is my Top quilt/sleeping bag. Its very convienent to just hang your straps, hook up one end and pull your whole setup out in one swoop to the other strap. Makes for fast setup and teardown too.

It's named a bishop bag since a member here named blackbishop351 started making them out of silnylon. The name "bishop" stuck.

I have them on my camping hammocks. For my ENOs, I'm fine just stuffing them in the attached bag, whoopies and all.

With my WBBBs, I have to stuff the straps into the bishop before closing the one end. If you get pitch on your straps, you'll not want to have them in the bag with your hammock.
