    New Clayton Jungle Hanger...

    Hi all!

I'm new to the site, although I have read on here for many months.

I've owned a HH Expedition for about 6 years...unmodified and I have never really been comfortable or liked the "non versatility" of it. So, after reading about all of my options (DIY not one) I decided on a Clayton Jungle.

I ordered it today, sent a confirmation email to Tom and received a answer in 3 minutes! I can only hope that every expirence with this hammock is as good at that.

I'll continue to read and update as I go...I already own a replacement suspension system (strapworks/rings) that I was going to modify the HH with but I will use them on the Clayton now.

    Again, happy hanging to all!

    another midwest hanger

    welcome to the forums!

maps.google.com tells me that Greenwood is just south of Indy. Mule lives up in Kokomo, I'm just over the border in IL. I know there's at least another IN hanger a bit west of you (forget his name at the moment). This summer we ought to get together a mid-west hang. I suspect there are good spots in both southern IN and IL.

    WOW...the 3X4 looks great.

I already emailed Tom to see if I could switch for the original Jungle fly...

Any guess on the difference in weight between the original fly and the 3X4?
