    Pete had a go at sledging on the way home, we stopped off at the ski resort so he couldn't resist a go in the dark

    We get plenty of snow up in Scotland, the last few years especially. It tends to start coming down any time from late November and will run through to February/March time. They say it snows every month up in the Cairngorms.

    Once again, Rich, you tempt us and cause us envy with the scenes of Scotland. Glad you all had such a great trip. Stargazing in the snow away from the lights--priceless! I once caught the Geminid Meteor shower in similar fashion-an ice storm had the power out for days. Laid out in the snow in my sleeping bag just staring into space--it was a great night.
