    Hangin' in the New Year

I've been hangin' in the woods for nearly two years, and here...mostly silent...for a little over a year. I just wanna thank everyone for all the info I've gleaned in that time. Stormcrow for his TQ and UQ, Dutch and Stu for the new ridgeline setup and Dejoha for the awesome read. Check out my review of that over on BackPackGeartest if you wish. Anyhoo...thanks to those fellows and the many more that have helped me go from somewhat heavy and comfy...to pretty light and comfortable bliss! I can't wait to hit the trail for New Year's!

Afoot and light-hearted, I take to the open road,
Healthy, free, the world before me,
The long brown path before me, leading wherever I choose.

"Mother Gue", I says "the Rocky Mountains is the marrow of the world," and by God, I was right. Keep your nose in the wind and your eye along the skyline.
