It's hydrophobic, so really shouldn't need much drying.
A dryer will melt Tyvek, and I suspect it would do the same to IX...ixnay on the dryer. A gentle wash cycle with cold water should be okay, though.

I would stick to hand washing as the scrim seems semi delicate, and hang dry. I was trying to crease it with an iron set as low as possible and it instantly melted, seems like Chickenwing also had a bad experience with IX and a dryer.
Good luck,

According to i.d.i. (the leader in insultex clothing), using Nik-wax Tech wash is recommended.

Being that insultex floats, I'd suggest the hand wash also. Hand wash all your gear really.
If it has a shell on it, it will hold up in a normal wash cycle, as well as the dryer on normal. The only problem is that the dryer will shrink it!!
So hang dry it and you'll be golden.

ChickenWing posted not to put IX in the dryer as it has a low melting point. Another post by MacEntyre says the melting point is supposed to be 194*F so perhaps a low heat setting would be ok.
I'd probably err on the safe side and air dry it (on a line or in the dryer without heat.) IX is closed cell foam so it isn't going to absorb much if any water and neither is a nylon shell so it should dry pretty easily without the need for heat.
I concur, IX with a nylon shell holds very little water. I was able to dry my TQ in front of a small campfire in a matter of minutes, just holding it there and turning it every minute or so, when the water got evaporated on that side.
