    Question Help

I can't begin to tell you all how excited I was to receive my first hammock in the mail. It's a DIY from another forum member. It came with woopie slings on the ends and a woopie sling ridge line. Now I need to complete my suspension. Where is the best place to find toggles and webbing? Thanks

    Arrowhead Equipment or WhoOpie Slings.

I like the first one Hooch mentioned. But I might be a little biased. black webbing tree straps are on sale for a few more days. Custom made for each order just to the length you would like.

you can also order what length you want from http://www.strapworks.com/

you can have them sew a loop on one or both ends, whatever you like.

I see at woopie slings website the toggles are made from aluminium arrow shafts. Has anyone tried to use the carbon arrow shafts? If so how do they hold up? I have many carbon arrows that I could sacrifice for toggles...

For most folks, they hold up fine.

I used sticks until recently.. as long as it keeps the hitch from coming out it'll work.. you should be putting the suspension ON THE KNOT, NOT THE TOGGLE.

Works just fine just remember -"On z not, not on z toggle." I have used plastic hangers that I cut down to 2" or so and rounded the ends on a bench grinder. " On z not, not on z toggle,"
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

And at a very good price. I just picked up two sets because of the price which was lower then what I have been buying the webbing alone for (to make my own).

Any suggestions on where to get dutch clips? And a recommendation on 1" vs 1.5"?
