Wow, with all the HF'ers getting TQ's & UQ's from HammockGear, Jenny & Adam must be sewing like gangbusters.

I just got my Bear Burrito Oven from Arrowhead in the mail today. I'm headed to the garage to hang my warbonnet and give it a test. ... Hooray!!! Merry Christmas to me. Thanks to Arrowhead for such great service!! YOU ROCK!!

Oh boy! I don't know about Santa, but my sister's gift of an REI gift card got to me just in time for me to take advantage of the current sale and I now am the proud new owner of a very warm and fuzzy pair of fleece pants to go under my shell for winter hiking and hopefully some skiing!!

I ordered a HH Expedition A sym and got a free Scout and Snake Skins for both (those are for my kids). I'm hoping Santa brings a White Box stove and a Primus 1.5L kettle for me. I might get myself another GPS to use on Geocaching.

Among other things...I just ordered a Gift Certificate from Arrowhead Equipment for myself. He has them on sale for today only...that's right, a gift certificate on sale. Whatever $ amount you get, they add on another 20% to the certificate.

i have all the gear i need and the bits i still want are mostly diy projects, so it's all up to me - chop-chop! except: something like a gransfors bruks scandinavian forest axe or the american felling axe. i'm still undecided what to buy, so i'm not getting presents...

The wife bought me a 20 degree burrow TQ----------black with olive green, its a beautiful thing!
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.
