    Thanks w/a question

I am new to hammock camping. About to go on my third trip next week, my first to spend 2 nights. The info on this forum has been invaluable. I appreciate all who take their time to share their experience and skills.

I am slowly accumulating the gear I need. In the Big South Fork where my son and I will be next week they require hanging a bear bag. I am considering the Ursus Ultralite Bear Bag. Does anyone have comments or other suggestions?

    Thanks again!

At BSF I just hung a stuff sack and it worked fine. The only problem was finding an acceptable tree. This may not be a problem in other areas of the park.

Have a great time and stay warm.

In the high peaks reagon of the Adirondacks bear canisters are required due to the bears know how the bear bags are hung, but any where else a stuff sack hung is acceptable.

Oh yea and welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the feedback. That's about what I thought.
