You could get the material together to make yourself one. A guy on this forum made one out of denim. It will give you a good idea if you like that style or not.

I have slept on my stomach in my bridge but its not for me (stomach sleeping that is). I don't really sleep on my stomach at home either. I sleep more in a half stomach half side at home and this has translated wonderfully to my bridge.

Yes, I can do that at home or in the JRB. I can't sleep on my stomach in either, or any other hammock for that matter. Closest in a bridge, but still no go.

Making the bridge hammock Can be intimidating but with all the info on the forums it's really easy to do. I wanted to try out a bridge hammock so I look a old futon cover and denim and whipped one up. In the end I only had to pay for the hardware, which I picked up for like 5 bucks. I would think one could use blankets to make a free or cheap one to see if it's for you.

Grizz has on one of his posts the measurements for three different lengths of hammocks that really makes it easy to make a bridge hammock.

Bridges are extremely easy to make. It is just and hour shaped piece of material. It gets a little more technical in putting in end caps or bug nets but those aren't necessary.

If you can fold material in half, cut an arch (doesn't have to be a perfect cat curve for a test hammock) and roll a hem then you got it. The suspension is just cord or webbing. If you don't want to figure out the lightest suspension for a test here it is simple. Take the length of your spreader bar and use that for your triangle lengths. It will make it a little long but for a test hammock does it really matter.
