what can you use an amsteel loop for?

Hey guys, just a quick question-I've seen where you can make a continuous loop of amsteel. Besides the obvious, what are some other uses for a loop like that? Seems like there may be alot of things you could do with it?
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

Larksheaded into the channel of a hammock with two rings on it for ring buckle suspension.

I used them to hang the ridgepole on my "Turtlelady Bamboo Stand" style of hammock stand. Mine are actually knotted loops, but a continuous loop would work as well.

I've used one as a knife lanyard before.

A tree strap extender, a pack hanger, a gravity filter hanger, water bottle/platy carrier.

I've used them around the gathered end of my BB and then larks headed rings on for drips ..

I've ditched them now though, just tying my whoopies straight to the hammock ends
