Have you called Hammock Gear? I know that in the past, gear may not show up on thier web site. Send a PM or e-mail and ask. If you already have, and they do not have it, then to answer your question, I don't know

    good tarps

I've seen a couple threads where people have been very happy with their zpacks tarps. One difference is that the zpacks tarps are sewn at the ridgeline. Personally, I have a tarp on order with HG - I got my order in before he suspended orders on them. I think he's waiting to catch up on orders before taking more, but it can never hurt to ask.

I asked Joe about this, and he will tape the ridgeline if you ask for it.

So the main difference seems to be in the minor sizing differences, included loops etc, and cat cuts.

Did he say that there was a difference between a cat cut & square? I heard that cuben doesn't stretch, so tarp tensioners were not needed. But, in your experience, does the cut affect the wind deflection?

What is more durable? Taped RL? or Sewn RL? If the RL is sewn, do you have to seam seal it?

I think most people would say a taped seam is more durable and I agree with that. Although, there are hundreds of Zpacks tarps out there and I've seen very, very few posts about issues with the sewn RL. I think you would be fine either way really. You do have to seam seal a sewn RL.

if you watch Sarge ROCK's video on making a cuben tarp, he mentions
using primer with the bonding tape. Check the 3M site for specs.
But the primer makes for an even stronger bond.
