Thanks Dutch. I bought the camera for my wife's birthday last year. And... well, since it's her birthday again today, I've decided to get her another camera for this birthday too.

I think we've learned to download all the pictures as soon as we get home from anywhere instead of leaving them on the camera. Or to keep a "trip" memory card separate from the "family" memory card and leave that one at home.

I've been through all my stuff twice, and the camera is still gone.

Despite the camera thing, Tinker Bell and I had a great time. Thanks Qpens and everyone for setting it up.

Hi Patrick...it was great to see you and Tinkerbell this past weekend. Thanks for taking the long drive. I was sorry to hear about your camera. I can't believe someone "in the woods" would steal from someone. That is very disappointing.
I lost my glasses out there. Did anyone find them?

I did not end up with an extra pair of glasses.

I believe they must still be running through the woods with my camera, after being released into the wild.

Sorry you lost them. I hope you can find them soon.

Maybe Redtail can run up there and check for you Qpens. I would if it wasn't 3 hours away.

And for those that didn't make it, Dutch's vintage hammock looked good so far. We also were discussing some of the features of it and how to make a new style hammock. We also got to see Rev's dual mode BEEP hammock.

I used 2 DIY hammocks w/ DIY Tarps(Me and feather hawk) and a skeeter beeter w/ jrb 8x8(Lee Chan*).

Flamingo's entire setup is DIY except for the sleeping bag and inflatible pad. Held up very nicely in the rain. I think she was surprised and impressed.

NCPatrick... I am realy sorry about the camera. I wonder why you were so chosen. I don't think our stuff was rifled and we were closer to the trail than you. Bummer.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

    Mt Washington Special

Glad that ya'll stayed dry and that there was a great turnout of about twenty folk....

Really hated to cancel at the last minute but the blood clot during recovery from the rotator cup repair trumped the travel plans....

The new batch of BMBH is now in stock....

Also since we were unable to show the new Mt Washington under quilt we have decided to near double our regular discount for those purchasing during the introductory period....Until 30 September 08, The Mt Washington is $60 off.... Currently there are a couple in stock and the production run is expected by the end of the month.

Again, thanks to Qpens for coordinating the hang and conducting the raffle for us.

Thank you, Michael, for another great hang. I had a blast, but alas, I forgot to take pictures.
So, I am thanking all for your picture contributions. See you all next time.

    Happy Hanging,

    Mary

    Glasses Found

Great news...My glasses turned up in my food bag. What a relief. Now if we can only find NCPatrick's camera.

That is great news. I think the camera is long gone.
