Dutch Buckle and Marin Spike Hitch Comparison

I made a video demonstration and comparison between the Dutch Buckle and the Marlin Spike Hitch. It also features the now-famous Dutch Clip.

    What do you think?

You know that if you keep this up, I'm going to have to buy some Dutch buckles.
I have just about everything Dutch otherwise

The one Dutch piece I don't have.....
For me the MS hitch is easy and I can do it quickly. Still like staring at my toggles.
Dutch has invaded my whole hammock/tarp system...I got dutch clips, dutch biners, dutch quilt hooks, TarpFlyz, dutch hooks. Much Dutch to the Touch.

I used my buckles this weekend for 2 nights. Awesome buy! I like it a lot better then the hitch. I just like how you can lock the slings in the buckle.

I also really like the Dutch buckle! I like the 'piece of mind' not having to wonder if my toggles are upside-down every time I get into my rig....

They really are things of beauty. You know you need them Shug!

I'm sold on the way they keep the whoopie secure with the little shock cord, and the way you can wrap them up for storage in a Dutch Bow-tie. And at 19 grams for the pair of them (mine come in at 18), who can complain? Down here, a hitch-hiking spider could almost weigh that much!

Don't forget to lock them off Tony, first time I used them I set up in the dark, sat in the hammock and had a slow descent to the ground
