    NCPatrick, that looks great. Will you be able to use the one tarp for both hammocks with this one? Looks like it.

    Actually, only one hammock will fit inside. I figure that if I'm camping with one of the girls, they will get the privacy of this setup. No sequins on it though .

    What, you couldn't get it in purple or pink camo for the girls?

    Solution for the weight: Take it on trips where your companion is a ground sleeper. Let him or her carry the tarp. At 28oz vs. a tent they shouldn't complain much. The shelter looks plenty large enough for two to sleep in. Then when the conditions arise where you need the coverage on your solo trip you have the options of this shelter.

    Solution for the cost: I'm accepting donations!

    I saw it at trail days. It is well made and provides great coverage. It will have a following for those seeking the most protection with some weight penalty. It was quit windy at trail days and the hut seemed sturdy enough. For myself, I think I'll stick with my 11x10 JRB.

    Time heals all wounds...but it usually leaves a pretty big scar.
