Some place between 8 and 20
I have a for sure from 8 and a good number of folks have said they would be there throughout this thread but I have not heard anything more with just 14 days till the 5th. I hope some of those folks chime in with a "be there" or not.
I know of one more for sure that will be arriving on the 9th at the fishing location for the second half. He is driving up from Salt Lake and is a Tenkara guide so those that will be there for the secondary hang will get to pick another Tenkara brain.

I was one of those that was sure I was going to make it. Unfortunately, there has been a training/planning scheduled that weekend for our council's scouts and parents going to the 2013 Jamboree.
I am really bummed. Eventually, I am going to actually make it to one of these hangs.

Once again, school precludes me going this year. really wish I could. Maybe next year??

Are there any restrictions on campfires and stoves in the area that will need to consider for cooking?

Just did some checking and looks like as of the 13th a stage 1 fire restriction is in effect. Couple things at stage 1 camp fires in designated campgrounds with a Frost Service installed fire ring only, no wood stoves and now smoking without a 3 foot diameter cleared area....so if you smoke plan to stand out in the open...on the road I guess. I'll try and keep an eye on this as the next week or two pass, a day or two or rain and they may drop the restrictions. On stoves it reads as if any liquid based fuel is OK but no wood or charcoal as they can stay hot for to long and could throw sparks/embers. While what I read did not refer to Alcy stoves the wording made it sound like they would be ok.

Really hoping for rain and snow this year, I dont want to carry a fire extinguisher!
no full moon on this trip...
I got the maps that you sent. We had been RV camping this last weekend. Now I need to get ready for the trip to Idaho.
I'm planning food and other stuff for the trip. The first night will be at the Alturas Lake campground, that will be drive up camping. We will on Thursday, move trucks to the trail head parking for the hike to the fishing lakes.
Will the Sunday and Monday camping will also be drive up camping also?
