I was just thinking of posting a feb hang here in mass as well for the same dates. I was going to go up to the ADK Mtns that weekend but I wont have the funds to go this year.
Count me in. Just need the address![]()
The address is the corner of Bisbee rd and rt 143 in chesterfield. Just off of Bisbee rd is a small rd that will lead into the spot. If you google the map you will see a small field on the left hand side of 143. There is a hemlock grove that is where we will be.

Myself & the mrs are a possible for MArch. Last weekend in Feb doesnt work for us, as we are flying out to Ft Lost in the Woods, Misery, as my nephew is graduating Basic Training/AIT as a demo engineer. So, if she isnt working, we are a good possible. If she is, she may just come up later that afternoon.
If this winter keeps up the way it is, I might not have any snow left to groom up at the mountain lol
If I can make it I will definitely try!!!!

So i am down for a maybe.
My work is starting to pick up again so i have to be ready to put the nose to the grindstone.
I wouldn't mind a little more info on the place, not that it will affect my decision.
1, This is private land, are there hiking trails etc. from site or nearby?
2, Did the beer around the campfire question get resolved?
3, I like to fend for myself when it comes to food. But don't mind bringing something for others if needed. is this ok?
4, The camp area looks great but Is there a reason not to camp in the state forest areas? just a curiosity question as i know nothing of the area.
i think thats all....
thanks,
Matt B.
1. There is one small trail next to the camp but it is close to bushwacking. There is a scout camp close to us that you can walk to. We thought to just have a weekend were we could hang out and gather around the fire.
2. I Would prefer no alcohol but not completely against.
3. We were thinking Saturday dinner could be a group effort. The rest could be individual.
4. This is my boy scout troops campsite and we can use it for free. There is plenty of firewood and a small storage shed to put excess gear in.
