I was on a high adventure trip in Alaska when a piece of ground cloth I had on my pack fell off. Our guide picked it up, probably upside down and backwards, and read my scrawled name (Jonah) as Zorban, I liked it and it stuck.

I just happened to be listening to the song "Spacegrass" by Clutch while trying to come up with a screen name for another forum. I have used it ever since, I believe it was fate.

My middle name is Stone. Even though my given first name is a tree -- a different tree -- I've always been fond of pines, pine groves, sleeping under pines, etc. Just something about those forest floors in pine woodlands. Where I'm spending this winter -- central FL -- oak/pine woodlands are common. I like hanging under pines. Hence ...

My favorite cartoon growing up was Robotech, specifically the 3rd Robotech war withe the Invid. One of the characters road a transformable motorcycle that had swords on its arms. His name was Lancer, I have been using it as a handle online as long as I can remember.

Caminante - means walker/wanderer/wayfarer in Spanish which I speak as a second language thanks to my Mexican wife. I took it from my favorite poem in Spanish by the Spaniard Antonio Machado: https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Antonio_Machado.
