Not much to it. Came from an attachment I once had for collecting old Stetson cowboy hats.

    Ouachita Hiker

Just what it says. I started my hiking back in the 70's in the Caney Creek Wildenress of the Ouachita Mtns. in AR and I pretty much haunt the same area. I have done some hiking in other spots like the Ozarks but the lions share of my hiking is in the Ouachita Mtn. region.
Former hiker due to health issues those days are over.

How can I not add after reading 26 pages?

The Weezer is one of the many nicknames I have given my son (a long story that doesn't have anything to do with breathing...). It is my favorite. He can be across a crowded, noisy room and I can say "Hey, We!" and he will always look up and find me like some sort of prairie dog.

Midnightlost, switch it around a bit, add an at, and get lost at midnight. Although, it usually happens sooner lol.

I'm never lost, I just can't be bothered remembering where the map is.

A Southpaw is a left handed boxer or pitcher in baseball. It's also a good low budget beer. Almost anything that requires dexterity I do left handed, however I'm almost completely right footed and my right hand is my strong hand. I do fight left handed in Karate and ride a skateboard goofy footed but I play all other sports right handed. Very confusing.

I was chunky when I was little, so all my friends called me "Norm", like the guy from Cheers - the name stuck, and also morphed over the years into things like "Normis", "Norman", etc. "Norm" wasn't available when I signed up....

We are now ready to start our way down the Great Unknown. We are three quarters of a mile in the depth of the earth. We have an unknown distance yet to run, an unknow river yet to explore. What falls there are, we know not; what rocks beset the channel, we know not; what walls rise over the river, we know not. Ah, well! We may conjecture many things. The men talk as cheerfully as ever; jests are bandied about freely this morning; but to me the cheer is somber and the jests are ghastly. Powell 1869

I always wished Bill Murray was my dad, so the name is an ode to The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
