What does your HF Screen-name mean?

mine is a misspelling of my last name, kinda funy becasue the name started out as wittelsbach, family of the mad king von ludwig. my great great grandma or something of the sort wasn't too good of a speller when she came to america. so i kinda like using the different ways people have misspelled my name in the past.

My last name is a bit difficult to pronounce if you've never heard it (VandeZande, pronounced "vandy zandy"), so whenever I make friends they usually cut off the last half and just call me "vandy". One day my best friend was talking about me to someone else and just referred to me as "the vandy man" and it stuck.

I can't believe I never saw this post. Anyway, here is my story.
When I was growing up, there was a local HS football player that was in the paper every week! Jimmer Bundy. Since my name is Jim, my brother would call me Jimmy Bundy when we were playing football in the neighborhood. After a few months it was shortened to Bundy.
When I opened my first internet account, I was able to grab bundy. When I switched providers, I couldn't get bundy, so I added 71, my year of birth. And now I'm bundy71.
Although it is not an official trail name, I like it.
Now I do have another name in Boy Scouts, Mr. Manny. But that's another story for another thread.

My username is a combination of my first, middle, and last name, and the 2112 is a tribute to one of my all time favorite bands, Rush... The holy triumphant of classic rock!

I use PineMartyn because my name's Martin and I wanted something woodsy and outdoorsy sounding, plus I find Pine Martens to be adorable critters.

The reason my username is spelled with a Y is because I first started using this name for my YouTube channel, but unfortunately 'Pine Marten' was taken, as was 'Pine Martin', so I had to go with Pine Martyn. I've used that username ever since for all the camping / outdoor forums I participate on.
