What does your HF Screen-name mean?

I just recently started using hammocks but ever since then i want to lay in them all the time so i picked the name HammockJunkey.

My last name is Meck, and I've always had a penchant for playing with words... I have no real fascination with Michelangelo (the artist, or the Ninja Turtle), but I liked the sound of Meckelangelo.

When I got into triathlons, I signed up for a triathlon forum. Since, I was a runner at the time, I tried "runforrestrun" but it was taken. "triforresttri" just seemed to make sense and I've used it for quite a while now. Feel free to just call me Forrest.

I was walking a trial in the Adirondacks when a younger hiker came up behind me on the trail. After following me for some time he said "Come on Gramps kick it into High Gear". I replied "This is High Gear It's as good as it gets". He said "Funny thing your Low Gear, Cruising Gear and High Gear all look the same". I said "Well when you get to your sixties with a bad heart you only have One Gear". And thats where the Trail Name UnoGear came from..

Bigfanboy is my internet handle. I won't go into all the details, but here is the short story. I used to be the IT guy for Wizard Press, at the time we were the premier mag about comic books. We called the kids, and ourselves, that read comics and our mag "FanBoys" (not a lot of girlies reading comics). We we setting up our first online presence, it was on AOL. I needed a handle for this site, and since I am 6'2" roughly 300lbs, and I was the main god like presence on the site, it made sense to pick the name BIGfanboy. That was over 25 years ago and I have kept it ever since.

There is a Stan Lee, and Dee Snyder part to this story, but I won't go into it here.

I just joined the hanging community this year, I bought a Hennessey, though I am very interested in doing more DIY. I am already a huge fan of Mr Shug's Youtube videos. The man is clearly a fanatic, I want to meet his wife she must be a saint.
